WFH or office is more personality than location

Covid arrived and you were told to work from home. This required a change of mentality. Suddenly you did not have to get up at 6.30 am to catch the 7.26. You could have coffee breaks, lunch breaks, walk the dog, deliver or perhaps pick up the children from school, start work early and finish early or even start late and finish early if that suited.

Suddenly personal trust became centre-stage and rather than constantly working under supervision you became the boss, the supervisor and the motivator.

For some this was devastating. They missed the clear reporting lines and the clear personal camaraderie of friends and colleagues. For others it was an opportunity for freedom and release from the drudge of pointless travel and the distractions of office gossip.

Your reaction to this will be determined by psychology.

The 4 Lowe Personality Types will indicate whether you enjoy the chat around the coffee machine or would prefer working on your own. The Influencer and Supporter types will enjoy the conversational interaction whilst the Analyst and Creative will be focusing primarily on the task in hand.
